$4.95 entrée @ El Furniture Warehouse Whistler

since its been years ever since my last visit to Whistler, we ask friends for recommendations. she recommended us to a restaurant where everything was $4.95

top: poutine and onion rings
poutine was not as exciting but still good
onion rings used beer batter and was easy to smell the beer scent
personally prefer crisper ones
bottom: honey garlic wings
the works burger
meat was quite juicy
not a lot of fries accompanied but the burger fills in the value
they gave ketchup instead of mayo
better than a McDonald's meal

-although the price was cheap, quality was not affected, everything was worth its value
-the $1.95 substitution for yam fries was not worth it, a side order for $4.95 would have been a way better decision
-we went around 5pm but certain items on the menu were already sold out
-18% gratuity for group of 5 or more, however they didn't charge us that
-servers were all friendly, each came to serve you regardless of area
-they do take-outs and close at 1am so perfect for late night snacks or to bring back to your room or on to way home

Ice-cream @ Cows

so made a trip to Whislter for a few days. while strolling down the village, we smelled a very pleasant scent of fresh waffles. continuing down the path, we saw an ice-cream place. we weren't hungry so we just looked and decided may be we can get some later. but once we stepped out the door, we saw the sign saying "Canada's best ice cream" awarded by Reader's digest. we knew immediately we had to get some

half of store has souvenirs for sale

Messie Bessie
very rich chocolate flavour with lots of toffee inside
the sign that lured us

their signature ice-cream
tried the chocolate monster the next day
non-chocolate lovers can try the PEI strawberry which my friends loved
another sign that recognizes them as the world's best ice-cream

COWS Whistler

-they use 16% milk which makes the ice-cream smoother
-basic cones are already waffle cones with the additional choices of chocolate dipped and sprinkles
-cones are not made when ordered but likely made within the hour or two
-lots of unique flavours
-$4.25+taxes may seem pricey but is definitely worth it
-we loved it so much we went back the next day
-unfortunately the closest one to Vancouver is this location
-i agree that it is the world's best ice-cream!
